The View Sales page refers to the section of EZ Process Pro that lists all sales and quotes for a customer, as well as their quotes and voided sales.
To access the View All Sales page you must first navigate to Main Menu > Sales > Search Customer. For a walkthrough on how to navigate Search Customer please see our article Search Customer.
You will be brought to our Search Customer page once you have successfully searched for the customer you wish to work with. This page consists of two tabs Application Information and View All Sales. (for a walkthrough on the Application Information please see our article Search Customer - Application Information). To view and manage the sales for the customer, you can click on View All Sales.
From here you will have the option to manage the customer's account by clicking on Customer Account Actions.
These possible actions are described below.
Create New Sale: This takes you to a screen where you can choose to make an In Stock, Full Catalog, Quick Sale, or Quick Cash Register sale. The new sale will be automatically associated with the customer when you get to the Customer Information page during checkout.
Create Special Service Memo: This allows you to create a Special Service Memo for the customer. As a reminder, Special Service Memos are memos that are attached to a customer rather than a sale and used for action like warranty repairs for items a customer purchased from you.
File Notes: This takes you to a new screen where you can see notes for all sales the customer has made. You can also choose to create a note and associate it with a sale for the customer. Note that if a note is made without being associated with a sale, it will not save.
View Store Credits: This allows you to see what store credits a customer has, and what they have used and allows you to create more.
Create InHouse Account: Here you can create an InHouse account for the customer. If the customer already has an InHouse Account, you will not see this option, but rather the last two options.
Access InHouse Account: This takes you to the "InHouse Financing - Account Main Page" where you view the customer's InHouse account, make payments and refunds, and view the payment history on the customer's account.
View Revolving Statements: This shows you any bills that a customer has for Revolving Credit on their InHouse account.
Below this button, you can see a list of all Sales associated with a client's account. Each column conveys information about the sale, and some can be clicked on to view further information.
Sale #: This is the unique identifier of the sale and can be used to identify this sale on different reports throughout the software.
Date: This is the date the sale was originally made. Editing the sale will not change this date.
Receipt Number: This is the receipt for the sale. If the sale has been edited, this will show the most recent version of the receipt. Clicking the link will open up the Office Copy of the receipt to view or print again. This is not the copy you want to give to a customer - instead, go to the Manage Sale page to reprint the Customer Copy.
Sale Notes: Notes can be added to a sale during the sale process or later on when an employee wants to make a note regarding the sale. Clicking this link will allow you to view or add notes to the sale. All these notes are internal, and accessible only to employees with access to EZ Process Pro.
Status: This shows you the payment status and the delivery status of the items. For more information about the delivery status, click the links with the numbers (in the example above, 1/1 or 0/1). This will show whether items are reserved, on order, delivered, or on backorder.
View Sale: This will open up the "Manage Sale" page, allowing you to take further action on the sale and see more details.
Finally, you will come to the Quotes section of the page. This allows you to view all Quotes saved for the customer. Each column conveys information about the sale, and some can be clicked on to view further information.
Quote #: This is the unique identifier of the quote and can be used to identify this quote on different reports throughout the software.
Date: This is the date and time the quote was saved for the customer.
Quote Notes: Clicking this link will allow you to view or add notes to the sale. All these notes are internal, and accessible only to employees with access to EZ Process Pro.
Delete: This allows you to delete the quote from the customer account.
Generate to Sale: This allows you to turn the quote into a sale.
Deleted/Created to Sale: This indicates that the quote has already been removed from the account. You can still view the details of the quote by clicking the Quote Number.
