What is a blocked account?
At EZ Process Pro, if you type in a password incorrectly too many times, you will get an error message saying "Your account is blocked."
Accounts are blocked as a security measure, to prevent anyone from repeatedly guessing a password until they get it right and gain access they shouldn't have.
How do I get my account unblocked?
To unblock this account, you will need to talk to your store owner, manager, or HR contact. Anyone who has access to edit employee information will be able to unblock this account.
EZ Process Pro support can show clients where to look to unblock accounts, but they cannot unblock employee accounts. This is a security measure to prevent the Support team from giving access to anyone who may not be with a client's company anymore, may be impersonating an active employee, or otherwise not be authorized to access the client's system. All employee account changes will need to be done by the client's team. The only exception is the Admin account, which the Support team can unblock if requested by the client.
To unblock an account, go to Human Resources > Employee Information > Modify Employee. Select the employee you are looking to unblock.
On the Employee Information Page, you will see a button in the upper left-hand corner of the page that says "Unblock Account". Click this to unblock the user's account.
You are also able to reset the password to the employee's account from the same page as needed.
