Update Release Process and Timeline

We would like to keep you informed about the progress and phases involved in the release of the upcoming system update. Our development process follows several important phases to ensure that the changes we implement meet the highest standards of functionality, security, and performance.

Phases of New Development:

  1. Logic Design: The foundation of the system's functionality is created by outlining the core logic and workflows.

  2. User Interface (UI) Design: A fresh, user-friendly interface is designed to enhance user experience and accessibility.

  3. Database Design: Structuring the underlying database to ensure optimal data storage, retrieval, and overall system performance.

  4. Connecting to the Database: Establishing the connection between the application and the database to ensure seamless data flow and operations.

  5. Security Updates: Implementing necessary security measures to protect user data and ensure the integrity of the system.

  6. Testing and Instructions: Comprehensive testing is conducted, and user instructions are prepared to ensure smooth adoption of new features.

  7. Beta Testing: The update undergoes real-world testing by a selected group of users to gather feedback and identify potential improvements.

  8. Release: The final release of the updated system, where all enhancements and new features are made available to all users.

Current Status:

  • Sales Receipt Feature: This is currently in Beta Testing (Phase 7) and is expected to be completed in the upcoming week. 

  • Other Items: All other items are in Phase 4 (Connecting to the database). We are actively building the connections to ensure everything works seamlessly.

Release Strategy:

  • As each feature is developed and tested, it will move through the subsequent phases, and updates will be rolled out progressively, 1 to 2 changes at a time.

  • Once a feature is released, we will notify you via the welcome page of the system. Please stay tuned for updates.

  • Although it took approximately one year to reach Phase 4, we aim to release the updates showcased on the welcome page over the course of two quarters. However, please note that until testing is completed, there may be unforeseen issues that arise.

A Complete Rebuild:

This update represents a complete rebuild of the system. There is much more to come than what has been shown so far. The focus is on:

  • Mobile Compatibility: Ensuring that the system works smoothly across all devices.

  • Speed and Performance: Improving system performance for faster, more responsive operations.

  • Streamlined Operations: Enhancing workflows for better efficiency.

  • Easier Access to Details: Simplifying the way you view and manage information.
