To Prepare For Training

Call all product vendors and get up to date price lists in Excel, or Microsoft Word

Also ask for a list of any finished or fabrics in Excel, or Microsoft Word

 

The following can be in Microsoft Word, Excel, or in a paper copy

1. Get all your employees files up to date with accurate contact and tax info.

2. Get a copy of your logo & letter head in JPG format

3. Get your product vendor contact info including your account # with them

4. Get your accounts payable info including contact and billing info (electric, utilities, advertising )

5. Begin tracking all open undelivered sales, un paid bills, and not received POs

6. Begin Organizing warehouse for a complete inventory.

 

We suggest you read the training schedule and rearrange your staffs work days accordingly. Many companies choose to have a full staff on the entire time of training so that those people in class are 100% free to focus on learning the system.

Tools needed.

A room with a large blank wall for a projector or an projector screen.

Dry Erase board & markers for demonstration

Enough computers with internet access to allow each person in the room to have their own (trainers will bring laptops for themselves)

Note : Class begins no earlier than 10:00 AM and ends no later than 7:00 PM daily

 

Onsite Training Schedule for 5 days with 2 trainers

DAY 1

Trainer 1:

1.System Settings: In depth discussion of the options with in the system and selecting the best settings to fit    a company's needs
2.Entering Employees, Setting Employee Permissions, Modifying Employee

Trainer 2:

1. Intro to data Review all spreadsheets provided and initiate a game plan for any missing data

. Set up Fine Print for Receipts

3. Input logo and letterhead for price tags and sales receipt

4. Entry of employees data

DAY 2

Trainer 1:
1.Adding Categories: Discussion of the best way to break down product into categories
2.Add Manufacturer
3.Add Vendor
4.Add Finish, Fabric, Options
5.Add Group & Edit / Delete Group
6.Manufacturer Are
7.Entering Inventory

Trainer 2:
1.Add Categorys
2.Entry of Manufacturer Data
3.Entry of Vendor Data
4.Entry of Finish, Fabrics and Options
5.Begin entry of groups / product

DAY 3

Trainer 1
1.Sales: in depth training of the different processes that can be used to make a sale
2.Edit customer info & answer client questions
3.Take payment
4.Account for funds using financing.
5.Edit delivery date
6.Edit instructions
7.Reading inventory
8.Generating a PO for clients & stock

1.Continue Entering Groups / Product

1.Tracking Po using ETA & Ship List
2.Confirming PO Received
3.Entering Invoice for PO with freight & if freight is billed separately
4.Delivery / Pickup, generating & confirming
5.Back Orders: generating & confirming
6.Repairs & Services: generating & confirming
7.Special Services: generating & confirming
8.Bring Backs : generating & confirming
9.Editing a sale
10.Doing a refund

1.Work with trainers from the clients company to train and test sales staff

1.Work with warehouse staff and operations department to organize oversee the inventory taking and assist in inventory data entry process.

Day 8

Trainer 1 & 2
1.Continue Inventory Process

Day 9

Trainer 1 & 2
1.Oversee & assist in the entry of open undelivered sales

Day 10

Trainer 1 & 2
1.Oversee & assist in the entry of open purchase orders not received or confirmed with an invoice.

After trainers leave immediately

1. Enter any unpaid invoices

2. Enter all bank accounts into the system, and their starting balance
