When making a sale you may need to quote the customer and follow up to close the sale. In this article, we will discuss how each salesperson can see all of their open quotes. As well as how to search and void a quote.
To access the My Quotes section of the software you must navigate to Main Menu > Sales > Personal Area, My Quotes. Once selected you will be taken to the screen below where you can see all of your open quotes.
Please see below for a breakdown of each column on the report:
Date of Quote: The date the quote was generated
Sale Person: This field displays who generated the quote
Sales Location: Where the quote was generated. If the salesperson works at multiple locations this field will display the location the salesperson was logged into when the quote was generated
Sales Type: This will default to a quote
Quote #: The identifying number of the quote. If clicked this will take you to the finalize sale screen where you can see the details of the sale.
Sale Price: This is the total sale price
Customer Name: Name of the customer
Home Phone: This will pull directly from the customer information filled out when generating the quote
Print Letter: This option allows you to print a variety of letters that can be sent to the customer
Note: When clicked you will see any notes that have been added to the quote.
How to Search, Delete, or Generate a Sale for a Quote
When looking at quotes you may find the need to adjust or even void the quote after following up with the customer. To do so you must navigate to Main Menu > Search Customer.
After selecting search customer you will be taken to the screen below. once here select Enter Quote Number enter the quote number in the search field and Submit
This will take you to the Customer information screen where you will see all sales and quotes that have been generated for the customer. From here you can either Generate a sale for the quote by selecting Generate to Sale or void the sale by selecting Delete
If Generate to Sale is selected you will directed to the shopping cart menu where you can checkout or add more items.
If you select Delete a pop-up message will appear at the top of the screen confirming that you would like to delete the quote
If OK is selected the screen will refresh and the quote will not be marked as Deleted/Generated for sale
