Make New Sale - Shopping Cart

When making a sale in EZ Process Pro, you will use the Shopping Cart to manage the items being purchased, make any changes to the sale, and choose custom options for the items selected. During the sale, you'll see a button called "View Shopping Cart" that allows you to view all items in your shopping cart. Below you'll see a breakdown of what the items on the page are. 

 

 

The main part of the page is a table with different columns that describe the item you have added to your cart. Each column is described below. 

  • Manufacturer: The name of the Manufacturer that created the item. 
  • Item #: This is the item number of the item in the row. If you click on the hyperlinked number, you will open up the Item Details page for the item, which will show you the dimensions, weight, and inventory count of the item. 
  • Description: The item description. This is controlled in the Add/Edit Groups page. 
  • Qty: This is the quantity of that particular item that you are adding to the Shopping Cart. 
  • Finish: This is the finish you have selected for the item. If you would like to change the finish, you will need to remove and re-add the item with the new finish. 
  • Fabric: This is the fabric you have selected for the item. If you would like to change the fabric, you will need to remove and re-add the item with the new fabric. 
  • Options: If you have options created for this manufacturer, this will show you the options that you have already selected. If you have not, you can select them using the Customize button.
  • Additional Details: If you add Additional Details when adding the item to the cart, they will show here. 
  • Subtotal: Price of the item and the fabric or finishes that were added to the item. This is the subtotal of the prices before tax or any other fees attached to the sale. 
  • Customize: The customize button will show up if there are options available for this item. This customization page is described further below. 
  • Remove: To remove any items from the shopping cart, use the drop-down button next to the Remove button to choose how many of the items you would like to remove from the cart. Choose the number, then click "Remove" 

 

At the bottom of the table, you'll see the Total Charge. This is the price of all the items you are adding to the shopping cart.


Directly below the table of items, you will see the following 5 buttons. Each one is explained below. 

  • Check Out: This takes you to the next step of the sale, where you enter the Customer Information for the sale.
  • Keep Shopping: This will take you to a page where you can choose what kind of sale you want to make next: In Stock, Full Catalog, Quick Sale, Quick Cash Register. 
  • Back: This takes you back to the search results page you came from. 
  • Clear Shopping Cart: This button removes all items from your shopping cart. 

 

Customize Item

 

Here, all options that are enabled by the manufacturer will be available for you to choose from for the item. You can customize these options under Getting Started > Options Selections. Options are not configured to change the price, but you can edit the price directly through the Price/Item box on the far right side of the page.
