      How do Voided Sales Show When Paying Commission

      Once a sale has met the criteria to be paid commission it will then show in both Payroll and the Commission/Spiff Report. This article will discuss what happens when the sale is then voided.

      When a sale has met the criteria to have commission paid, the sale will be added to the Commission/Spiff Report.  

      For example, sale 87252 was made in our test system. 


      The sale has met the conditions set in your System Setting Page 1 and is now displayed on the Commission/Spiff Report as seen in the screenshot above. 

      Let's say payroll has been run to lock the commission and the customer decides that they no longer need the furniture and wants to return it and receive a refund.

      This article will explain how to process this request. 

      Once the sale has been voided you will now see a negative on the Commission/Spiff Report for the sale ensuring that the commission is cancelled out.
